First Post...

Be warned all this is my first attempt at blogging, so if you are not satisfied please say!  To introduce myself I am a student in the UK.  The aim of this blog is simple:

• To post my thoughts and musings on various different issues which are of interest to me and hopefully from time to time of interest to the reader.
• To encourage myself to think more critically.

So what will I be posting about?  Well at this stage I have a pretty large remit in mind.  I hope to post on a  combination of topics such as politics, history, gaming, tv and books I have read.  Don't expect anything about sport!

When I have time to sort the site out a bit more I hope to make my first proper post, so in the meantime stay tuned and have fun.
